  Music online: Classical Scores Library, (Vol I, II, III)

Music Online: Classical Scores Library is the largest and most authoritative resource of in-copyright scores to support teaching and research in classical music. This multivolume series contains more than 51,000 titles of the most important scores in classical music, ranging from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. The scores are printable.

The access via FCUM computers is automatic.

Users can create their own account and:

  • save their own playlists (with comments and external links);
  • share their own playlists with chosen person/groupe, all FCUM users or everyone.

   JSTOR - MUSIC COLLECTION

JSTOR is a growing digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources. FCUM Main Library provides an accec to MUSIC COLLECTION (over 100 titles focusing on titles in music education, musicology, ethnomusicology, music theory, and cultural/regional music). 

You can browse the collection by titles of journals. List of titles from Music Collection (with the coverage) is available on http://about.jstor.org/content/music#tab-title-list

You can also use the main JSTOR browser available on http://www.jstor.org/ .

Acces to this database only via the FCUM computers and wifi (IP authentication).


  Naxos Music Library

In Naxos Music Library you can find more than 126 000 CD-length recordings.

Online access only via computers in FCUM (IP-authentication).

The databases in which music-related materials may be found include as follows: 

 

SpringerLink is a database of journals, books and book chapters published by Springer Verlag. It covers a number of disciplines, including natural, technical and medical sciences, as well as the humanities and social sciences. It is possible to browse through the database; however, access to some materials may be limited.

 

 

 

EBSCOhost is a set of databases on various subjects. It lets you browse through the scientific, multidisciplinary, full-text database of Academic Search Complete, which contains over 8,500 full-text journals, of which 7,300 are peer-reviewed. Next to full-texts, the database also contains indices and abstracts for over 12,500 journals and over 13,200 publications, including monographs, reports, conference materials, etc.

 

WEB of Science is an online scientific citation indexing service maintained by Thomson Reuters. It provides a comprehensive citation search.
